The Bright Smiles database system was developed for the Illinois Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics in order to collect information in conjunction with physicians providing low cost or free dental care to children in urban areas throughout Illinois. This system is also used to maintain relations and communication with Illinois area physicians.

Michigan Glass Coatings required a cost effective system to track their many installers and numerous install jobs. Using Microsoft Access we were able to deliver a solution within budget that tracks employee and job time, materials, costs, inventory (with cost averaging), advertising and reporting on time and in budget. The powerful import utilities in Microsoft Access allowed us to salvage much of their previous information as well.

CAPE is an extensive shipping and receiving package that really pushed Microsoft Access to its limits for the time. Leap forward 15 years and unfortunately, VBA 2.0 is no longer supported by Microsoft and the original developers are gone. The client was referred to Samko by their tech support company. We were able to review the outdated code, and successfully upgrade the application in a cost effective manner by using proprietary Samko tools to auto-generate many of the required changes.

The Health Indicators Analyzer spans web, desktop and mobile platforms and is used for the interpretation and collection of data in pediatric well-patient visits. Data can be collected and synchronized via mobile device. The HIA also includes a custom SQL Server reporting and Excel Import/Export engine and custom technology allowing mobile devices to print wirelessly.

The PCC Database is a patient tracking and research system. The primary goal of this application is to track patient referrals to youth programs in urban areas throughout Illinois. A call center follows up on the referrals and logs information regarding current status, satisfaction, usefulness, rate of completion, rate of relapse and provides physicians with information on which third party programs are the most effective.
