Services - Steps We Take

Steps we take to restore your identity include:

  • Issue a Credit Bureau Dispute form to the three major credit bureaus.
  • Issue an Account Form and/or Fraudulent Account Form with your affidavit and police report to the financial institutions, credit card companies and other creditors identified by you.
  • Contact the proper Federal Government Agencies about your theft.
  • Contact Check Verification Companies about your theft.
  • Follow up with all agencies and companies within 30 days after all your information has
been submitted to ensure that proper actions have been taken.
  • For corrections not completed by your creditors and the credit bureaus, follow-up letters are issued until all corrections have been made.
  • Monitor your credit bureau reports for one year for any possible changes.
  • Repeat the process if any fraudulent activity occurs again.
